Who is Kitsune ?

Kitsune is the company behind Kitsunegaroo, a website gallery of Japanese art. This art gallery is the result of a great passion for oriental art. One of the founders, Arie Vos, started collecting and studying oriental art at a very young age. Today, 30 years later, his interest for Asian art is greater than ever. His wife, Stella Melis, grew up and is active in the world of export and import. This can help the Kitsune customers to ship their purchased goods safely to any place in the world.

Meanwhile, Stella and Arie pursue their search for small decorative oriental art objects. And…because they cannot afford to buy or keep everything they find, they have decided to start "Kitsunegaroo", so that you too can profit from their discoveries.

 

What does Kitsune offer ?

Through Kitsunegaroo we offer you the possibility to widen your search for fine oriental art on the European market. The search for Japanese art has become our main activity. Nevertheless we discover from time to time beautiful Chinese or Korean antique masterpieces, which are also included in our catalogue.

Due to the many requests for information, Kitsune decided to introduce a glossary on Japanese art. There you will find many explanations and pictures. Feel free to explore this new tool.
